Fuzzy Visions

Uh, Hi. It's Amy this time. As per our title, things are still rather mundane, but today I chose to wear my contacts. Why on earth is this worth sharing? First of all, to quote Tony, "Egolicious". Really though, just to share an odd observation. When I wear my contacts (which are the correct prescription) everything just seems slightly fuzzier than when I wear my glasses (not the correct prescription on the left side). My ophthalmologist has mentioned that this is normal, but it still seems odd to me. Perhaps I do not really look more attractive in my contacts but rather the collective mild fuzziness of all contact lens wearers simply smooths out any imperfections. Glasses being far too obvious an imperfection to be smoothed by a mild fuzziness. Who knows, perhaps I get buzzed or drunk more easily when i wear contacts. Why wouldn't a visual fuzziness predispose to an intellectual fuzziness? Tony doesn't wear contacts so he can't (ahem) clarify things for me. I'll have to experiment at the pajama party next month.

It's EGO-RIFIC!

Seems everyone these days is bathing in the self-importance that is "the blog". We figured, why not us? We have trivial minutia filling in the cracks of our otherwise inconsequential lives. Why not share them with a very narrow population segment, the members of which may or may not know and care for us.

So here we go. Share and enjoy.
